"I’ll show you how I truly am! AHAHAHHA!!"
YUKISHIRO AYUMU
|
Another student of St.Angel that came to Tamahara along with Chiito and Kiyo. Ayumu is another newcomer of St.Angel, but can already considered as one of the strongest female students. She owns an obviously antagonistic personality of being a sadistic young girl that was hidden behind a cute persona. She obviously plays the role of going completely against Kokoro's side, however, she is also considered as another deuteragonist for Kureha's part. Ayumu always try to do anything that'll prove her the strongest, to grab everyone's attention and make her stand out, comparing herself with a "main character" that should be the center of attention. Like most students in the school, she strongly dislikes the idea of Angel Game being branded as a mere game/tournament, when most unfortunate children (including her) went through a lot to obtain the powers they never asked for. She fights in a way were her opponents are lured with her "bait", and counter-attack when they least expect it, using her imaginative creations of ice. Ayumu does own a quite enigmatic nature regarding her past, whereas nobody knows or could look up anything about her previous life prior to Angel Gaming... Even when it's implied, her poetic speech style makes it more difficult to understand, hence, nobody really knows what leads to Ayumu's current villainous self.
Personality
- Ayumu owns a selfish and proud personality. Everything she does must abide her own rules, and those who oppose to her is treated as her enemy. She often use the tactic on fooling others with her cute looks before showing her true twisted nature, which is pretty much the traits of a haraguro character. She even owns a signature evil laugh.
- Ayumu's cuter, childish persona often shows her as a playful and friendly girl who speaks in a very poetic way. She often makes reference to various fairy tales in her speech, adding the fact that she even speaks in third person - referring herself as "the princess" or "the witch". Almost all the time, she's trying to sound like a narrator who's story-telling a fairytale.
- Self-centered and cunning, she demands respect and attention from everyone; that she even treats others almost like her own servants. She often gives weird nicknames (that are purposely meant to be disliked) to others without permission. If anyone actually dares to disrespect her, expect her to treat them in an even more harsh and rude way, sometimes even to the point of threatening them with her own strength.
- Ayumu does enjoy seeing others suffering, or when her opponents are completely fooled by her cute looks. Her exact reasons are almost similar to why Chiito fights his opponents in a ruthless way--because Ayumu likes seeing other people finally realizing the uglier or crueler side of the world/Angel Game--saying that "Happy Endings never existed", which is something Ayumu already faced...?
- Behind her ego, Ayumu hides her insecurities and trauma that she gained from her misfortunes. She hates being ignored or forgotten, and would do anything as long as people continue to validate her importance/existence. When others tried to preach to Ayumu about the reality of the world or remind her to stop comparing everything with fairytales, her "fairytale" persona or usual speech style would break; making her become more aggressive.
Stats for "Frozen Princess of Icy Land"/"Dancing Snowflakes"
The stats for Ayumu's "Heart" is quite an interesting one. With a slightly balanced ATK/DEF stats, leaning a bit more towards DEF, Ayumu's creations of icicles or snowballs works well for both combat and self defense.
What makes Ayumu's "Heart" quite different is that she does not consume as much S.C despite being able to attack in a large RANGE, which is a rare case in most "Hearts". In trade for all the advantages, however, Dancing Snowflakes faced quite a low CHARGE stats. Even if it's user gains a huge advantage during long term battles, attacking first or early is quite difficult for this "Heart". Ayumu owns the specialty of using her powers with her footsteps. |
- Toyosato Chiito: Ayumu calls Chiito with the nickname "cheese", treating him as if Chiito is her pet. They both share the same class, and Chiito is pretty much the only person who's close to Ayumu. Ayumu also acts quite clingy to Chiito, often seen close to him. She actually likes it when Chiito talks to her in a harsh way, her reasons of liking it are mostly because Chiito is the only one who's brave enough to talk to Ayumu like that.
- Tsukimori Kiyo: Ayumu and Kiyo's relationship are like cats and dogs--upon their first meeting, they already fought that it became a running thing that Kiyo and Ayumu can't make an eye contact with each other without arguing-- even though, Ayumu usually managed to stop Kiyo by threatening him. Kiyo and Ayumu calls each other by the nickname "kansai monster" and "ice queen" respectively.
Unfortunate Life
Ayumu's past or misfortunes is very vaguely implied, that some even doubted that her life prior to Angel Gaming was actually the same person. The biggest implication of Ayumu's past misfortune, which is mentioned by Ayumu herself, is said to be "the princess under a witch's disguise, who ran away from her non-existent castle".
With the real name Hidaka Koyuki, Ayumu lived in a rich family with her father; a researcher of Angel Game and her mother; an Angel Gamer who's bedridden from disabilities. Not too long ago, Ayumu's younger sister, Hidaka Mashiro; died from a severe accident. After this event, her mother was often stuck in a delusion and pretended as if her second daughter is still alive and lived with them; to the point of still buying clothes and serving meals for a doll that was projected as her deceased daughter. Ayumu's mother was very obsessed with the doll that she forgot about the existence of her surroundings and family, which Ayumu had to accept.
A few months later, Ayumu's mother got hit by car and had to stay in the hospital. Ayumu often visited her, but the only name that her mother could say is Mashiro's name. An incident happened in one of the day Ayumu visited her mother again. Her mother still suffered from her delusions, endlessly asking where her sister is even as far as throwing a huge tantrum everytime Ayumu tried to tell her that her "Mashiro" has never existed. Suddenly, her mother stopped breathing and collapsed--and died from a sudden shock. The death leads to Ayumu blaming herself as if she killed her own mother, leaving her in a breakdown and possessed a "Heart" at the same time. Her father heard a noise, came to the room and almost saw the situation, but Ayumu immediately ran away after releasing a snowstorm. Not too long after running away from the situation...Ayumu completely changed her appearance so nobody would find her again. She later resides in Kasagiri city, erasing every single proof that "Hidaka Koyuki" ever existed and enrolled to St. Angel as "Yukishiro Ayumu".
- "Angel Gamers are nothing but a pathetic, pitiful creatures!!"
- "The princess that were rumored to be kind and loved never existed...in fact, she turns out to be the witch side character that everyone hates."
- "Why is it only the princess that deserves everything good? Why must the villain get killed in the end? Everything...everywhere...it's so unfair."
Trivia
- Ayumu's one of the few Gamers who have two different names for her "Heart".

Significant changes:
